Her Own Formula

Middletown, Conn. (AP)–Mrs. Anna Zadina, who with her husband Frank just celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary, has her own recipe for being active at the age of 87.

Mrs. Zadina keeps busy with sewing, but scorns the modern electric machine. She uses an old foot treadle sewing machine, pumping for several hours a day. She feels the foot action gives her legs exercise and helps the circulation.
